The casino portion is on par with your average Indian casino, but its going downhill. Overall, the hotel side of this casino is just below a Hampton Inn. I've been stopping into this casino for about four years since its a midway point between our home and San Diego. The casino was lousy and with a heavy cigarrete smoke cloud all over. My salmon was a joke, overcooked and flavorless, my daughter's pasta was not good. That night we had reservations at the steakhouse, my husband loved his ribeye. Our room was spacious, not very clean, desk and night table with dust, beds were confortable. We had lunch at the cafe, food was so so, poor service. It was crowded, not a lot of chairs available and they were very dirty and stained. My husband asked this nice lady if it was possible for us to use the pool (it was a hot day) and she extended (without a smile) a day pass for us to be in the pool area. The nearest town, Yuma, is 10 miles away. Bad attitude! This place is almost in the middle of nowhere. So we got there at 1:30 pm ( check in time 3:00pm) and we were "greeted" by a very rude woman at front desk who told us to go somewhere else because it was not 3:00pm yet. We were told over the phone that it was possible that if we arrived before check in time we could have our room. I've never been at a casino outside of Las Vegas, and obviously I wasn't expecting something similar but. We visited this "resort" mainly because a relative's recommendation.
